Mr. Yaakov Hagoel (WZO)

Board Member

Mr. Yaakov Hagoel is Head of the Department for Activities in Israel and Countering anti-Semitism of the World Zionist Organization.

 

Among the various positions he held in the past, Hagoel served as the Chairman of the World Zionist Youth Movement Council, as a member of the presidium of the Zionist General Council, has been a WZO Finance Committee member, and the Executive Director of World Betar.

 

Currently, Hagoel remains active in widespread and diverse areas of public service. He serves as the Chairman of the Review Committee of the Youth Exchange Council, he is a member of the Board of Governors of Ariel University Center of Samaria, and is a member of the Jabotinsky Institute Executive.

 

After completing a voluntary “Service Year” (Shnat Sherut) in the Development town "Ofakim", Hagoel served in the Nahal Brigade of the IDF, and performed his Reserve Duty in the Gaza Strip.

 

Hagoel, hold a LL.B Law Degree from Ono Academic College.

 

He is married and father to four children and lives in Natanya.

 

Yaakov Hagoel is a Board Member since 2010. He is a member of the Jewish Agency Executive, a member of the Finance committee, Co-Chair in the Task force on Anti-Semitism, Member of the Board of Trustees of Keren Hayesod, Member of "Yad Vashem" Council, and Member of Herzl Council in the Prime Ministry office.
